Samantha joined our laboratory as an Intern to learn about human pain research.  She has worked in the Woolf Laboratory at the FM Kirby Neurobiology Center at Boston's Children Hospital, where she was involved in a project on neuro-immune interactions in inflammatory pain using animal models. She will soon start working on a project on the effects of low-dose aspirin on inflammatory and nociplastic type of pain in humans exposed to experimental sleep restriction.
