Richard Soler Cand. Med.

Richard Soler joined us through the T32 Summer Program for underrepresented students. He is a Medical Student at the Medical School of Puerto Rico and is interested in anesthesia and pain. Richard's project for this summer the first analysis of polysomnography in patients with Long COVID and comparing findings to participants who were infected with SARS-CoV 2 and fully recovered, and those who were never infected. Richard also analyzed how sleep PSG relates to two common symptoms in Long COVID - pain and fatigue. Richard continues to work on getting this work published while back in Puerto Rico.
