Our Goal

The goal of the Yeh Mind-Body Lab is to develop and optimize mind-body interventions to promote positive behavior change among individuals with or at-risk for chronic health conditions.

Our research program studies mind-body exercise interventions (e.g., tai chi), mindfulness interventions, and remote, online delivered mind-body interventions. One primary area of focus is on promoting physical activity behaviors. We study the effects of mind-body interventions on important health behavior change process (e.g., self-efficacy) and physical activity levels. We also study the mechanisms of mind-body interventions for promoting healthy behaviors and chronic health outcomes
